We had some more snow this week. Just a day really, but it was heavy, giving another white blanket to everything.

While I was walking along Avenue B, I saw a pine tree with the needles all snow and icicle covered. I was really struck by the colors and shapes.

This week I also read an article about 60s interior design, and the use of strong patterns as a main focal point.

I decided to use both as an inspiration for a piece, that focused on nature (snow) and a bold pattern. Can you see the pine needles?
